Our mission is to reduce the flood danger in South Boulder, protect open space, recreational and habitat value of the Flatirons/CU-South Property, and restore the natural ecosystem of the South Boulder Creek floodplain.
Friday Dec. 11: CU-South Annexation/Flood Mitigation process subcommittee meeting 11--11:00-12:00 (find link to zoom on City's webpage) Friday Dec. 11: CU-South South Boulder Creek Flood Mitigation Community Briefing 2:00-3:30 (This appears to be targeted for the Majestic Heights/HyView neighborhoods, but all can join in) Tuesday Dec. 15: City Staff and CU hold "Office Hours" for Q and A about flood mitigation and annexation. 2:00-3:00pm. Sign up 24 hours in advance; limited to ten people. Wednesday Dec.16: Open Space Board of Trustees meeting 6:00-10:00pm Open Comment prior to business meeting; OSBT will be developing recommendations to City Council re: the City Staff's Upstream floodwater detention design. Note: This is the only upstream detention design the City staff has developed and the only one that OSBT can weigh in on. Thursday Dec. 17: Planning Board Meeting Tuesday Jan 5: City Council meeting: Reports on flood mitigation design will be presented to Council by staff
